This is a watercolor painting of a Snowy Egret we were able to observe in the Florida keys this past February. We were captivated by the dappled light as it filtered into the shallow water where several of these birds were searching for their lunch. This painting is available for purchase. This piece will be available in limited edition print soon. I photographed the young wolves at Animals of Montana. They were very curious and repeatedly tried to escape from their den.
The large-flowering trillium, the Wisconsin state flower, covers the forest floor this time of year. It's wonderful, flowing design is a beautiful, striking subject, thus the title, "Woodland Glory". The painting is 4.5 x 6.5. The painting has been sold.
