This butterfly (Queen Butterfly - Danaus gilippus) can be found in the United States, Mexico, and South America. The Queen has a diet of a variety of plants including milkweed, nightshade, and some nectar plants. The Queen butterfly is similar to a monarch butterfly, the Queen being a chestnut brown and the monarch larger with more orange, and black veins.
