    Mpls Institute of Arts - Foot in the Door 4

    Minneapolis, MN - Minneapolis Institute of Arts

      Every decade since 1980, the MAEP and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA) have co-hosted “Foot in the Door”—the state’s largest art exhibition. “Foot in the Door 4” is the fourth exhibition in the series and will be on view from February 19 through June 13.

      A Pacific Northwest Tradition Since 1961, it has provided an authentic venue with a casual atmosphere.  Gallery North is currently open seven days a week, located next to Starbucks on Main Street in Edmonds.

      Gallery North will be hosting its Miniature Show in March 2010.  Paintings are limited to 11×14 inclusive of framing.

      “The Fallbrook Art Center is proud to present the addition of the inaugural Nature in Miniature, a supplemental juried show in the Salon Gallery, in conjunction with the 17 Annual Reflections of Nature. FAC has hosted Reflections of Nature since 1997.

      Over the years, the show continues to grow in popularity, with the first weekend in May widely recognized as ‘wildlife art time’ in Fallbrook with strong sales and attendance from throughout our region (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and the Desert communities). In 2010 we have expanded the very popular show to include Nature in Miniature to afford the opportunity for emerging artists th to participate in our 17 Annual Wildlife Art Show & Sale.”
