This is a close-up photo of a painting that’s getting pretty close to completion. Two bobcat kittens off exploring. …just a few adjustments, etc. The piece will finish as a 10″x10″, watercolor on board. The painting will debut at an invitational gallery exhibit later this year.
I haven’t painted a lot of bobcats until recently…but I am really enjoying the patterns of the fur, textures, and of course their engaging expressions. …though, painting young animals always seems to be a treat to paint.
