This is a snapshot of my most recent work in progress. The painting is a portrait of an American Bald Eagle, 8×10 (traditional miniature). She is an education bird that has been at several locations here in the Twin Cities, her name is Tempest.

Really niice! I like it's vigilant and powerful stare. He looks quite regal.

I love how you managed to capture the look the eagle has. It amazes me how you can put so much in such a small composition!
Love your work!

Thank you. I love painting this eagle. It's an education bird from here in Minnesota. Usually calls out and holds many different poses when I visit. The bird has helped raise a lot of money for the species.

Thank you, Cindy! I love the detail..don't think I could stop myself from painting it if I tried.
I really enjoy bringing the board to life…which is why I like the traditional miniature so much.
I have some larger than usual works coming out soon. …have taken a little while to get everything into them..but I am really enjoying having all of the space to put the texture into. ..as well as the impact that you can only have in a large painting.
