I think mine would grow a little better if it wasn't quite so cold where I live.. :) I have some more old fashioned and wild irises, but I really love the frilly ones... @Scott - Hi. Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I do a lot of really fine hatching to build it up to the point of being finished (...all of that 'in miniature' technique..). You have to use pretty fresh brushes to get the fine details to turn out right. Just send me an email if you'd like a print. I believe this one will be on board and sold framed. (I love the ones on board - they have the same appearance as the original paintings...)
