hi very fascinating video may i ask when you begin with the initial drawing do you create this in graphite pencil then watercolour over this or gouache ect or do you use pen and ink to create a lineart first then paint this? thanks JAN

Love the painting, but here’s what I’d like for future videos. I want to feel like I’m at one of your shows, watching you paint. Watching artists work is a blessing. It helps me see the created piece step by step while the artist talks about his/her process. Stuff like: I use this type of paper, i use this kind of pencil, I start blocking in with this color, but not that color, etc. Like 5 mins of watching you create the piece would be fantastic.
    Hope this helps!

    Hi Rebecca,
It was nice seeing you put finish touches on this painting. How about a video showing the layering technique from the start to finish? I agree with what Bob says.

Wow..all of us artists are profoundly dramatic about what we see… and what we see is truely amazing work. We all want that perfect, realism that you capture as you create. I too would love to see how youdo what you do hen you do it..ya know..

    ME AGAIN! GAIL,
    Well, Rebecca!
Hows my buddy doing? I see you love to be cozy in this nasty cold weather too, huh?
What a “bout” the cup of hot chocolate? Anyway, just wanted to let you know….you ARE still the best. And ……….Do you know how rich you could be if you made up a couple of “how to be artistically brilliant, like me” {meaning you} videos and throw in a few “secret techniques”…not too many, we dont want anyone BETTER than you. Ha! Like THAT could happen. And Bang! we’ll be set for life…I mean YOU’ll be set….thats right..
    Talk soon…
    your friend
