Greetings from Florida!

I’m in a bit of a rush - this is just a quick post with snapshots from our shoots today. Thought some would like to see.
I will be posting more photos later.
Some friends are coming with us tomorrow who are going to help me chase down some references on the beach…
lol!

Hi Rebecca,
Great photos. When I saw the first Egret photo … I thought it was a painting you had completed. I love your work and look forward to visiting your site to see whats new. As you suggested to Jim in the miniature forum, layering with gloss medium… I have begun a painting and am giving this a try. LaVerne

Looks like it was a fantastic photo tour! Can’t wait to see what paintings come of it.

Hi La Verne - Thank you. Glad you liked the tip.
It is a lot like what Joan Willies discusses in her book about miniature painting techniques in oils. We had a great time seeing all of the wildlife - I have to get back to my easel now and paint something…
Thanks Cindy.
Oh, we had way too much fun! I can’t wait to see the paintings that come out of it either.
Best,
Rebecca
