  Presidential Commission

  Commissioned Paintings, Paintings, Paintings in Little - Small Miniature Paintings, Sketches, Studies, & Doodles
  

  This is another commissioned piece that I am working on (still in the sketch phase at the moment).  This is the sketch/drawing for the painting - which will be watercolor on Ivorine.  When it is finished, the piece will be a part of a museum’s collection of miniature portraits of the American Presidents.  I was asked to paint George W. Bush, and my Mom, Karen, has been commissioned to paint President Bill Clinton.

  I haven’t painted many human portraits recently, so this is a nice break from my usual work.

  @Sue - Thank you. The painting was completed and was delivered the the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio…I need to post the photo of the painting. (I’m a little behind in some areas…like blog posting… :/ )
