Well, I originally was just trying to study cougar for some future paintings when it happened. I thought “why not?” …that I might as well do the painting of it anyway.

I am often stalked by cougars when I visit wildlife facilities where they are kept in captivity – primarily because I’m usually the smallest in the group. …the cat’s natural hunting instincts.
