I really love the light in his face- you captured that so well. You certainly don’t need me to tell you this, but Great Job!

    Can’t wait to see more…
    Warmly,

I just ‘stumbled’ on your blog and it made my day! I used to have a pet fox when I lived in the Highlands of Scotland in the 1980′s Love your blog! I will be back often!

    Awesome Rebecca!

I’ve been watching your site for several years now (My how time flies!) LOL And just recently signed up for your blog – as I stumbled in the other day. I LOVE IT!! Thanks so much! It’s a real pleasure to be at least virtually present to see someone whos work you admire create beautiful artwork! The fox is so out of the ordinary as far as composition alone – a very nice piece!! Keep up the great work!

  • Rebecca Says:

Cindy – Hi! He was a lot of fun to paint – and an awfully cute model. :D Thanks!

Chris – Thanks Chris. I have heard of people owning arctic foxes as pets – that they’re a lot like small dogs. Thanks for stopping by! :D

  • Rebecca Says:

Robert – Thanks! :D I’m glad you like what you see. I really like having the blog for that reason too. Artists spend so much of their time tucked away in their studios — It’s nice to be able to communicate with the rest of the world. ;)

i stumbled on to your site recently. I am an animal lover and protector, but alas, my painting skills are basically paint-by-number, and even that 8s questionable. Your work is beautiful-I was looking for the fox painting, and I looked past the actual painting, thinking it was a photo!

    Awesome!

  • Jim Smith Says:

Love your work!! Really like the Fox!! Looking forward to see more of your work and comments in the miniatureart group.

  • Rebecca Says:

Hi Laurie, I can’t do paint by numbers either.  I tried. :D LOL  Thank you for your comments.

Hi Jim, Thank you! :D It’s so nice of you to drop by.
