This is a little thumbnail sketch for a miniature landscape painting I have started working on. It is a little western landscape (or waterscape ). I took a hike back in the wild areas near Yellowstone National Park & followed this splashing stream for a bit as the sun started to go down. The autumn leaves were just past peak, giving a nice crispy brown color in a few places. I just loved the long shadows and rich color of the landscape.![]()

Hi Olesysa,
Thanks so much for your comments!
I’m glad you like my work.
Yes, I have an email address – rebecca (at) lathamstudios.com There is also a contact form in the main part of lathamstudios.com if you would rather use it.
I try to respond to emails as quickly as I can, but I do receive a lot of them… so please don’t worry if I am not very fast in responding. No problem in resending an email if you think it may have been lost, either.
Best,
Rebecca
