This is a little thumbnail sketch for a landscape painting I have started working on. It is a little western landscape (or waterscape ). I took a hike back in the wild areas near & followed this splashing stream for a bit as the sun started to go down. The autumn leaves were just past peak, giving a nice crispy brown color in a few places. I just loved the long shadows and rich color of the landscape.

I try to respond to emails as quickly as I can, but I do receive a lot of them… so please don’t worry if I am not very fast in responding. No problem in resending an email if you think it may have been lost, either.
