I am starting a few miniature paintings today — at least I am gathering some reference for them (I may start painting them tomorrow). These will be the 1/6th scale (and 25 square inches or smaller) traditional miniatures. I am painting these by request of Miller Galleries in Cincinnati, Ohio for their annual miniatures show for the holidays. My family and I were invited to represent this traditional miniature scale of works – this is the first year the gallery will be showing this type of painting in their show.
