Latham Studios has been signed by Hadley House! Earlier this year we were approached by the company and now things have been finalized. We are excited to be able to share our images with an even larger audience!

Here is the finished Ruffed Grouse commission. I have painted quite a few of these in the last 2 years. This one went to Decoys and Wildlife Gallery in Frenchtown, New Jersey (near New York City). It is the last of 4 paintings for the office of a client. It’s a GREAT feeling to be finally done!!

One of my larger commissions, this ringneck pheasant was completed as a 24" x 36" painting. It was a challenge, both with a complexly patterned bird and a detailed background. I enjoyed painting it, but was happy to be finished!!

Such a busy week!! We sent off our first paintings exhibited with TWASI near London, England. They have been great to work with and so nice to make it possible for us to be included in this exhibition.

I was honored this week to receive the People’s Choice Award (Bronze medallion) at the 2005 Arts for the Parks exhibition in Yellowstone National Park, WY. To have your fellow artists and art patrons select your work for this award is unbelievably gratifying. Thanks so much to all who made it possible!

Just taking a break from a very busy schedule to finally write an entry. We have an unbelievable number of paintings to complete in a very short period of time for our next 2 shows and some commissions. It’s a good thing we like what we do!!
I am finishing up a large swan painting to be shipped Monday. Hopefully I will get time to post it later. It is a commission from the NY city area.
We have completed so many new pieces, we haven’t had much time this summer to put them on the website, so please be patient…they will eventually show up!
