Hidden Fawn

A fun little painting of a tiny white-tailed fawn, this was a commission for a very nice lady in Germany. The painting was 5" x 7". We had been photographing him with his twin when they tired and laid down, tucked into a corner in the trees. The Trillium was really there, adding a little touch of green to the composition.

Karen, I am a nature photographer & writer, and I SO admire your paintings! What a gifted artist you are. This little fawn is so lifelike–absolutely beautiful. Keep up the good work. It must be satisfying to complete a project like this. How long have you been painting?
