Finally, I am beginning my journal. This is a very busy time for us – lots of work to complete!! I have several commissioned and requested paintings yet to begin. I will try to post here as much as I can. Our working days have become longer and longer to accommodate a heavier workload. We hope to get a brief rest over Christmas. Thankfully, we love what we do. I am so thankful to be able to create something for others to enjoy and to also promote conservation of these special creatures as well. We are very blessed.

This week we heard of the passing of Simon Combes, a much-respected African wildlife artist, in a tragic accident. His family is in our thoughts and prayers. He was a huge talent and will be greatly missed.
