Here is a step by step of a recent miniature painting that I was commissioned to paint of a canadian goose. This painting is 3 1/2 inches x 4 1/2 inches.

Very nice, I like the reflection. Also good job with remembering to take photos at different stages during the painting process (I never remember).

Thanks! This is one of the few paintings that I managed to have images throughout the progress of the piece. Hopefully I’ll get to post more of them in the future.

I am just stunned by your work. I can’t believe this is water colors.
I love nature and wildlife…I used to sketch in colored pencils a lot as a kid…there is one sketch of a Kingfisher on my Flickr site…would love it if you would take a look.
I think you are just so blessed that this is your life’s work.

Sorry, I didn’t see the Kingfisher on your Flickr site, but your colored pencil piece on ink wash looks very nice. It’s always nice to talk to other artists that care about wildlife.
