We are delighted to now be showing in Jackson, Wyoming exclusively with Galleries West Fine Art. The owners of this charming gallery have been a great support to us and are known across the country for their fine quality and friendly atmosphere.
The gallery will be hosting a family exhibition for the Lathams August 12th - 14th with an artist reception Saturday, August 13th. Karen, Rebecca, & Bonnie are painting a new collection of original paintings for the event.
If you are in the area this summer, be sure to drop by for their grand reopening July 2nd at their newly remodeled Cache Street location and/or the Latham's family show in August at their Glenwood Street location. The Lathams will also be attending the gallery's annual "Fall Roundup" group show in September during the Jackson "Fall Arts Festival".
Rebecca Latham premiered new artwork at the World Federation of Miniaturists 3rd international exhibition. The exhibition was hosted by the Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers Society of Washington DC at The International Gallery, S. Dillon Ripley Center, Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC. Several of our colleagues attending reported the exhibition was very impressive.
This was the first world federation show, an event which is only held every four years, to be held in the USA. All of the miniature paintings in the exhibition measured no more than 25 square inches and no subjects were larger than 1/6th life size by artist members of fourteen miniature art societies from around the world.
InformArt Magazine will be featuring Rebecca Latham in an editorial in their next issue. The article will be about Rebecca's commission for Harvard University's "Who Mentored You?" program.
