Pictured left to right: Joellen Gonder-Spacek, Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota's Executive Director; Rebecca Latham, Wildlife Artist; & Eric Liu, Author of Rebecca Latham recently made an appearance at the Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota's event at the Open Book in downtown Minneapolis.  Her painting of an adult and cygnet mute swans, commissioned by Harvard University's "Who Mentored You?" project, was also on display at the event. 

Author Eric Liu spoke at the event about his book "Guiding Lights - The People Who Lead Us Toward Our Purpose in Life" and the importance of mentoring.

Rebecca recently completed a painting of two swans for the 2005 National Mentoring Month in January to help recruit new mentoring volunteers for many children's charitable organizations.  An image of her painting will appear on cards, in ads for magazines, newspapers, and outdoor advertising.  To find out more about Harvard's mentoring campaign please visit -www.WhoMentoredYou.org-.
