 Congratulations!!
Karen Latham was awarded a silver medallion as the Region I winner of the Arts for the Parks Top 100 Miniature Art Competition with a watercolor painting of a snowy egret from the Everglades. She and her family recently attended the banquet ceremony held at the Jackson Lake Lodge in Yellowstone National Park.  Both Karen & Rebecca were showing work in the exhibition.
The Arts for the Parks competition was created in 1986 by the National Park Academy of the Arts, in cooperation with the National Park Foundation. The program is designed to celebrate representational artists, enhance public awareness of the National Parks, and to contribute to programs benefiting the National Park System as well as the public.
