Rebecca Latham recently debuted some of her miniature artwork in the Hilliard Society of Miniaturist's annual exhibition in historic Wells, England. Her paintings of a "Water Patrol" Red Fox Kit and "Evening Radiance" Mute Swan were both chosen as best picture by the public, receiving equal votes, and were awarded "Most Popular Exhibit Award" by Mr Lyall Pierson.
The Hilliard Society of Miniaturists was founded in 1982. The Society's annual exhibition showcases around 500 miniature paintings and sculptures by artists from all parts of the world and features works in many mediums, subjects, and styles. The annual show draws miniature art enthusiasts from regional areas of England and abroad.
Karen, Rebecca, & Bonnie Latham debuted a collection of their 1/6th scale miniature paintings at the Miller Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio for the gallery's 14th annual invitational exhibition "Objects of Desire" - a holiday miniature and small works exhibition. The gallery invited the Latham artists specifically to represent traditional miniature artwork which is being featured in the show for the first time. The exhibition of the minute artworks will be on display in the gallery through New Year's Eve.

Rebecca Latham completed her new watercolor painting of a Canadian Goose on water. The 20x30 piece will be used as the 2006 Minnesota Ducks Unlimited sponsor print -- helping the organization raise funds for wildlife conservation. Prints of the painting will be released at the annual Minnesota State Ducks Unlimited Banquet to be held in February.
Karen Latham was honored as the 2005 MN DU artist of the year and sponsor print artist, Rebecca is the selected artist for 2006, & Bonnie has been chosen for 2007.

Karen & Rebecca Latham debuted their watercolor paintings at the Annual International Exhibition of The Wildlife Art Society International (TWASI) based in the UK/England, Australia, and Italy. The show was held at the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park's historic Mansion. Howletts Zoo (a sister park to Port Lympne Wild Animal Park) and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks are devoted to saving rare and endangered animals, returning them to protected areas in the wild.
Karen, Rebecca, & Bonnie are all members of the TWASI art organization.
